Our anniversary weekend was a weekend of enjoying the beauty and history in Arizona. And I wish my stellar skilled photography captured the real beauty of the Grand Canyon, but I did my best. And that's all that matters right? As an born and raised Arizonan, this was my first time seeing the Grand Canyon (crazy right?) which was probably my favorite of all.
We headed up north for cooler weather and stayed in Flagstaff. We were able to sqeeze quite a bit over the weekend: Wuptaki National Monument, the Grand Canyon, Out of Africa Wildlife Park, and Montezuma Castle. There was quite a bit of driving between all these places, so we had plenty of time to talk and laugh and sing and eat in the car. We probably enjoyed our car time a little too much. :)
Happy Anniversary! Looks like fun!
ReplyDeleteLooks like you guys had so much fun! The Grand Canyon is so beautiful! Your last post made me laugh! Its crazy because on our 4 year anniversary I was exactly as prego with our first as you are now! Weird! We waited 2 years to try for a baby and then it took 2 years to get pregnant but, i remember being greatful for those 4 years we had of just the two of us! And yes that stage of pregnancy you are talking about is so not fun! It sucks because your regular cloths make you look just plain fat but pregnancy cloths are still much to big for you! I remember always saying to Rusty "i just look fat!" and he would say " You're not fat you are pregnant" and then i would say "well ya we know i'm pregnant but other people don't and they'll just think i'm fat!". Good times! Sorry for the super long comment by the way! LOL!
ReplyDeleteOh and one more thing, sorry if this is TMI but just wait until your boobs seriously triple in size! So not fun! Hahahaha!
ReplyDeletehahaha. that was the best comment ever!!!!!!!! thank you.
